The dealer has the IDS, not all diagnostic tools can check or communicate with the dvd player. Make sure fuse # XXXXX(15 amp) in the battery junction box(BJB) is good and tight in the BJB. It could be a bad connection, power,ground or CAN network issue for the dvd. If all the circuits are verified as good the dvd would need to be replaced.
